Conceptual Writings
The conceptual writings over the past five years are project based, and include a mixture of urban poetics and found text.  Creating over ten projects and chapbooks that include NYC Falling Apart which is a small book based on found text from newspaper archives documenting things that have fallen in NYC over the past 100 years; it was published on Ubu Webs Unpublishable series; The Index of the Invisible is two year long installation project based on the police reports of missing people; Crash Rainbow and installation using drawing and the compilation of ten years of data on car crashes; and “Taxi Conference”  was created by interviewing taxi drivers and creating  500 small poetry  book  that were disseminated by leaving them in he back of cabs, for the next passenger to find. Quarantine, one of the latest projects, included re-writing records used for medical purposes while in residence on Governor’s Island. The text was then re-contextualized into alternate forms and created into a book format.
